Christian artist Chris McClarney wrote and recorded songs for his self-released 2009 debut, Love Never Fails, while serving as a Nashville church worship leader.
∙ In 2010, he connected with Christian-music fans across the US when the California youth ministry Jesus Culture adopted his worship anthem “Your Love Never Fails” as its theme song. ∙ The Newsboys covered “Your Love Never Fails” on 2011’s chart-topping album God’s Not Dead, helping to make it one of the most popular songs sung in churches. ∙ McClarney debuted nine new songs on the live set Everything and Nothing Less, which made the Top 10 on two Billboard charts—Christian Albums and Heatseekers. ∙ His 2018 album, Breakthrough, featured “I’m Listening,” McClarney’s collaboration with Christian artist and American Idol Season 12 contestant Hollyn.
